Sunflowers
Children learn best in a safe, loving place where they can explore, in their own way.
Sunflowers, the 36+ care program at Under 5's.
Sunflower & Ivy Rooms
The Sunflower Room offers a warm, home-like learning environment designed for children aged 3 to 5, accommodating up to 17 children. We focus on creating an inclusive space where children can explore, learn, and grow through hands-on activities, including collecting and using natural materials in our play. A peaceful sensory den is also available within the room, providing a quiet retreat for moments of calm.
Connected to the Sunflower Room is the Ivy Room, an extension that expands our capacity to 23 children. The Ivy Room is filled with a wide variety of loose parts and open-ended resources, perfect for inspiring creativity and imagination. This space also serves as a gathering area for group circle time, featuring a large-scale projector that immerses children in sensory experiences.
